i can finally open my eyes on my own today. i'm feeling pretty good. the headaches from the swelling are gone, and all the gunky stuff has begun to slow down. i'm REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping that i will be able to go back to work next week (VERY crossing my fingers) although i doubt it.

i spent my day today with my favorite newborn christine. i was there to witness her first bath! i also thought about how crazy it must feel to be first time parents. i felt a little wierd because i've seen my mom put my brother and sisters in baths and i knew pretty much what i to do...

i realized that i won't be too new to mothering when my baby comes... i don't know if that is a good or a bad thing, but i'm sure looking forward to it!
