update: paul went to the cardiologist last week. he is going to get a esophageal cardiogram. they are going to put a small probe into his esophagus to take a picture of his heart. they are looking for small defects in the heart to see if there were any clots or something like that that could have traveled to his brain. then we will have a appointment with his neurologist.
