happy new year. its already been a whole week since 2007 came. my 2007 began with a kiss. it was so nice to have him home.
gosh and i was SO busy! i cooked for paul's party, new years eve mochitsuki, and new years at auntie joy's. i made everything from coleslaw, potato salad, to chirashi rice, orange jello, and nishime. scary thing is i LOVE cooking for a party! i love it even better when people like my food. :D
but it was over... and quite quicky... on the 2nd of january paul was already on his way back to fort huachuca and i was back to work. so glad to be working to keep my mind off of everything else. i got the awesome kindergarten/DK group (DK is developmental kindergarten... for kids who have behavioral or learning disabilities. its a great program that gives these kind of kids a head start). the problem was that we had 30 awesome kindergarteners. its hard to do a organized game when you have that many because you worry about injuries andsometimes not all of the kids get it. in the end we had a great games of dodgeball, dr. dr. ball, soccer, relays, and art porject participation was great. i love those kids. only down fall of that week was that it was SO freaking cold!!! kids were complaing that it was cold and you know when you got kids complaining about that, its gotta be REALLY cold.
and so... whats up with the weather today!?!?! omg it was so hot. i got to see my kiddes at pt. vicente today. i guess they miss me a lot which makes me feel good about the job i do. what a great way to start the year.
woo hoo for 2007.
